Mrs. Waldgrave (Clelia) asks for something small she can break to relieve stress. Tansy produces a small saucer;
Clelia produces a large hammer.

Thor, who failed to raise her father's “exit offer” from thirty dollars to fifty; emerges when the room is empty wearing Willum's boxer shorts over her skirt.

Thor runs screaming back to the bedroom at the sight of Rick, who thinks it is a costume party. When Thor hides, Rick believes it is a surprise party. It is a complete surprise when he pops up behind the couch.

“Rick Steadman?” Willum attempts to communicate with the monster from behind the couch.
